Robbie’s Bears
Story
4 months ago today we lost our little ray of sunshine, Robbie at 19 weeks gestation. In approximately 3 weeks time we should have be welcoming him into our lives but as we won’t be able to do that now I want to do something productive in memory of him. When we were in the hospital after Robbie was born they gave me this beautiful bag called a “Bears of Hope” bag, like a care/support package. There was a teddy bear, candle, a CD with music on it, information about support groups etc it was really comforting. On the tag of the bear was another angel baby’s name. It was donated by parents before us who had lost their precious girl. So when the Bears of Hope bears are donated they are in honour of a special baby. We want to help raise money to donate more Bears to other people who may need them...??
No donation is too small????????
I am aiming to raise money for Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make! Thousands of parents are affected by the loss of a baby every year in Australia and are in need of support to help them navigate this devastating grief journey. For every $100 I raise, a bear of hope will be donated in loving memory of a baby close to my heart, to provide comfort, support and guidance to families in the immediate days of their loss and beyond.
