On the 2nd of February 2015 @ 7:24pm weighing just 507g, Leo Heath Edgar was born at 26 weeks after I, his mum had developed severe pre-eclampsia over the weekend of the 30th of January, Our little superman, fought hard over the coming days and we his parents looked hopeful that our beautiful baby boy would be just fine, passing all his initial tests with flying colours. 

Dion and I sat daily by his side in awe of his strength and bravery, in love with this beautiful little human being we had created, with big feet, button nose and long fingers, his little eyes and ears open to see and hear us and the world.

Sadly in the early hours of the 7th of February at just 5 days old our brave hero lost his life in the arms of his father. We his parents will cherish these 5 days we spent with our first born child for the rest of our lives.

Our grief is immense but we are slowly coming through thanks to this amazing organisation Bears of Hope, we have started a fundraising page in honour of our Leo, it will be his legacy, and will help other bereaved parents who will also sadly go on this journey.

Dion and I would like to thank our friends and family for their love and support.
