Alana Robinson - In memory of Lilah
Story
I am aiming to raise money for Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support in honour of my beautiful baby girl Lilah and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make! Thousands of parents are affected by the loss of a baby every year in Australia and are in need of support to help them navigate this devastating grief journey. For every $100 we raise, a bear of hope will be donated, in loving memory of Lilah, to provide comfort, support and guidance to families in the immediate days of their loss and well into their future.

Two months ago my partner and I had to make the decision to medically terminate little girl Lilah at 22 weeks as she had Trisomy 18 'Edwards Syndrome'. She had a hole in her heart, severe spina bfida and a few other problems.
After giving birth to her I was given packages from other generous people that have gone through similar situations which was amazing to receive knowing that you're not alone. It didn't fix anything or make her better but it has helped me emotionally knowing that others have gone out of there way to try and ease some of the pain for people they don't even know I am wanting to do the same for other parents and would love your help with any donations so that they can have a bit of a better experience in such an awful situation.

Bears Of Hope Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support is an Australian not-for-profit organisation, providing leading support and exceptional care for families who experience the loss of their baby.
We provide exclusive and invaluable support programs that include a credible foundation of parent led and psychologist facilitated support groups, private online peer to peer support communities, phone, face to face, online and email counselling and annual community events that remember individual baby’s and recognize their parents love. Bears Of Hope comfort, acknowledge, inform, empower, and guide families during their time of loss and beyond.
As a registered non-profit organisation we are dedicated to the care of others and reinvesting our finances and resources to ensure the mental health needs and wellbeing of parents are being met and embraced for as long as as required.
